本徵矢無解

About

Writing about myself is always a challenge—it’s hard enough to truly understand oneself, let alone explain it, especially when procrastination often gets the better of me. That’s why this “About” page only came together as the rest of the website was nearly finished.

So, let’s skip the complex self-introduction and get straight to what this blog is about. This space is where I’ll publish the things I write, provided I manage to follow through with grammar checks, proofreading, and hitting the publish button, rather than letting them gather digital dust in my notes.

Given that, the content here will primarily focus on computer science. Occasionally, I might delve into topics related to the natural sciences (as hinted by the blog’s title—more on that below).

Whatever brings you here, I hope you have a pleasant life and a wonderful day.

PS: About the title, “Eigenigma”

For those curious, the name “Eigenigma” is a word I coined. It stems from the Chinese phrase “本徵矢無解,” which translates to “no solution for the eigenvector” or, perhaps more poetically, “unsolvable eigenvector.” I combined the German word “eigen” (meaning “own,” as used in eigenvector) with “enigma” to create it.

PS2: A Note on Languages

You may notice that switching languages using the dropdown menu sometimes fails for specific articles and may even result in a 404 page. Note that I haven’t implemented redirection logic for missing translations. This is expected behavior. Not every post exists in every language; there’s no single default language that contains all articles. Some pieces are initially written in English, others in Chinese, and I don’t always translate everything. If you happen to read both languages, feel free to browse the different language versions—you might find some exclusive content!
